A new "first" for Carver!

Ravenbrook is a good project for Carver, it's just too bad they didn't buy American hardware.

Maybe this is just another sacrifice we had to make in Town Planner Jack Hunters' master plan to make Carver into "the solar capital of New England"????

Sungrow Scoops First U.S. Utility Scale Solar Deal  by Energy Matters
Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd, has announced it has secured its first utility scale solar inverter order for the United States market.
The Sungrow SG500LV inverters will be used in the Ravenbrook Landfill Solar Project, a 6 MW ground-mounted solar farm under construction in Carver, Massachusetts.
Sungrow is China's largest string inverter manufacturer
First to import utility scale Sungrow solar inverters from China, not really something to brag about. Probably the reason why this article ran in Australia.
Founded in 1997 by Dr. Renxian Cao, the company has 1000 employees; nearly a third of whom are R&D engineers. Sungrow Power is listed on the Shenzen stock exchange

update: I wrote a letter to the Carver Reporter on this topic
